BSOD with kix32.exe in netlogon directory

Recommended Posts

since yesterday I get a BSOD when I execute kix32.exe in the netlogon-directory on a Windows Server 2012. Client in Windows 10 Pro.

No BSOD, only an application error when then same file is in another directory on the server.

Normal behavior when the same file is local.

Hello MichaelHaensch and :welcome:

Unfortunately, the Home/Consumer edition of MBARW Beta8 has never been approved for use on any Microsoft server including the Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2012 R2.

Thank you for your interest in the Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta8 testing project.

Hi @MichaelHaensch

we just released Component Update 1.1.19 to address this BSOD.  It takes a little bit of time for the ARW Beta to pick it up but just make sure you are in this version and the issue should be solved.

Hope this helps.

And thanks @1PW for shepherding this issue with us.
