Malwarebytes randomly says the real time protection is turned off.

Recommended Posts

This is a known issue, and Malwarebytes is already working on a fix.

  • Occasionally, after installing or after during an update, you will see a “protection layer is off” warning while the protection is being or has already been automatically turned on. (We have a fix for this coming soon!)

The notice happens when there is a new update is downloaded and installed. MBAM checks for an update every hour so it would be possible to have 24 notices a day.

The only way it could happen 24 notices a day is if Malwarebytes actually released 24 updates, and this would not be the case....

im actually glad in 5 days the trial will be over because malwarebytes either wastes alot of proccesing power or memory or BOTH

If you provide logs to the Malwarebytes staff, they may be able to work with you to get issues resolved.

That being said, if you want to end your trial sooner, simply go to the Account section and end your trial.

How long did it take that scan to complete?  Open Malwarebytes and click Reports.  Look for that Scan Report and double click to open it. Click Export and save it as a .txt file, then please attach it to your next reply.
