If you have software called Workspace, from GoDaddy, installed, we have identified a conflict with that software that causes this issue. There may be other apps as well that cause the same problem, but we are not aware of them.

If you are no longer using Workspace, uninstalling it will solve the problem. You'll need to uninstall it using the Uninstall app found in the Workspace folder in your Applications folder.

If you thought you had already uninstalled it, and don't see that Workspace folder any longer, choose Go to Folder from the Go menu in the Finder, then enter the following path in the window that opens:


Then click the Go button. In the folder that opens, look for a folder named "offsync" and move it to the trash.

If you are still using it, or have never used Workspace, we are working on an update that will fix the problem, and should have that available soon. In the meantime, uninstall Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac 1.2.5 by opening the program, then choosing the Uninstall option from the Help menu. Once it has been uninstalled, you can download and install the previous version (1.2.4) from here:


When you run that, you will be offered an update to 1.2.5. Skip that version, and wait for an update to 1.2.6 or later.
