ispy4bucks Posted July 13, 2009 ID:98076 Share Posted July 13, 2009 I registered the software and have not received the license key (checked spam/junk folders). How long should it take before I receive the license info? Thanks
GT500 Posted July 14, 2009 ID:98125 Share Posted July 14, 2009 If you purchased online from our website, you should have been given the license right after payment was processed. I would believe that, with any method of payment other than credit card, the license is e-mailed to you once payment has been processed. Please contact CleverBridge if you believe you should have already received your license information, and they should be able to help you. Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted July 14, 2009 Root Admin ID:98289 Share Posted July 14, 2009 If you have a serial number that should be it. It should be an ID and KEY together.
yardbird Posted July 14, 2009 ID:98292 Share Posted July 14, 2009 You will not be prompted to register, you must do so manually:There should be an Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware icon on the desktop, double-click that to open program. If there is no icon, you can go to:C:\Windows\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware<<<<this folder... and double click the mbam icon in that folderOnce open, there will be a series of tabs, labeled in order: Scanner | Protection | Update | Quarantine | Logs | Ignore list | Settings | More Tools | AboutClick the 'Protection' tab.In that section will be a button labeled 'Register', click that button and you will get a new dialog box labeled 'Register Product'. Insert the ID in the first section and the key into the next. Please make sure you are COPYING and PASTING the license key directly from the confirmation email into the proper fields. Please also make sure you are only including the letters and numbers and not the words ID or Key. Finally, make sure you are not including additional spaces before or after the ID and Key.If done correctly you should get it registered.

You wouldn't get any message saying you're registered once those steps have been completed. You would not be able to click the 'Register' button at all.Can you check your 'About' tab and tell us if you see your key & ID listed there?

Staff TeMerc Posted July 14, 2009 Staff ID:98425 Share Posted July 14, 2009 This program is called MalwareRemovalBot. Is this the same program that ypu are talking about ?? That's what I was expecting, no, You've got the wrong software installed. Uninstall that junkware and use the link below to install Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, the file name is mbam-setup(downloads do not differ, registration with your ID & key activate the Pro features - this link generates some of our 'official' download sites, not just malwarebytes.org):http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download.phpPay close attention to the actual download link. Many download sites have big giant sponsored ads from other vendors of other types of software which may confuse you. That's how they make money, by placing these ads prominently so you see them first.Ignore all 'Recommended downloads', these will be the ads.
