When I run a scan I get results which seem to indicate my Panda Security is a virus.

I'm not sure about the registry items though. For now I've kept them. I've run Super Antispyware and haven't gotten any detections. However I ran this on my wife computer and she also has Panda Security but ADWcleaner doesn't detect it as a virus. So I'm not sure what is going on. Otherwise I've not had any problems with my pc.

Not Panda Security is unwanted, but the toolbar is not really needed.

It has been fixed (both folder and registry entries).

I doubt that this was a good decision.

I've reported this toolbar as I've found it on computers where there was no "Panda Security" installed.

but this is just my opinion :P

Ok how do I white list it then?. There is no indication that it is a PUP or actual malware.....So keeping it just doesn't seem like the right idea. You could potentially cause a lot of problems with users computers. "Potentially Unwanted" means that a lot of people want this software, and it's not malware at all. Really it's just a false positive and lots of false positives doesn't make your anti-malware better, but worse.
