No doubt MBAM detects other A/V software to be available on the system. Would it not be an idea to have that soft (folders and files) automatically be added to the exclusion tab so as to at least make sure there are no conflicts there.

I think it has been suggested before. The thing is that Malwarebytes would need to keep up with how the other products are installed (where their files are, what these files are) and also you don't always have to add exceptions to Malwarebytes when you have an Antivirus installed. Only in some rare cases of incompatibility. I never had to add my Kaspersky or Emsisoft products files/folders to Malwarebytes' exclusion list.
