Threats identified, No log results

Recommended Posts

This is brand new this week. When I scan with MalwareBytes it says "0 threats successfully quarantined. Threats identified are 29. When I look in the logs in the X86 Malwarebytes folder all results are zero. Ran half a dozen additionals scan that all came up clean. This is a Windows 10 64bit machine, upgraded from Windows 7. Have been running Windows 10 for 3 months without a problem.  Wondering if this is a Malwarebytes or Windows 10 update  issue.

Hello CDSI and :welcome:

Reference: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Users Guide - Application Logs - Scan Log

Hopefully, the scan logs are still preserved.  Please use the above guide to isolate and extract the relevant scan log and copy it to a text only (.txt) file for attachment to your next reply and subsequent analysis by the experts.  If you require additional assistance in locating the scanning record, please post in a reply to this topic.

Thank you.

Hello CDSI:

Thank you for the logs.

Reference: MBAM User Guide -> Non-Malware Protection -> PUP/PUM detections

Please change the current MBAM settings from Ignore Detections to Treat detections as malware.  Then, rerun a MBAM Threat Scan and attach those logs to your next reply to this topic.

If any detections are found, those detections will be quarantined and can simply be restored, if the detections are deemed false.

Thank you.
