Malwarebytes and Windows 10 build INSIDER Preview builds

I'm having issues even installing it to Windows 10 Build 14971. It says that it is not compatible with this version of Windows.

We think this is different. We've been tracking this and other compatibility messages (which all are not true) the last few weeks. This one is new from this week. Give us a few to get back to you on this one.

I have just rebuilt my Windows 10 Pro Preview with the latest build and I am getting the same issue. I thought it was just me as the software worked fine on this build but looks as you just can't use the installer.

  Hello Imstewart.

I am aware of a few others who do have build 14971 and have managed to install our current Beta 2 of Malwarebytes 3.

Kindly let me know of all the Malwarebytes programs that had been installed on this pc.  I tend to believe that you will need to fully clean uninstall them, and later run the setup-install for Malwarebytes 3 beta.

These types of messages ( shown above) are from Insider Preview builds of Windows 10.  Those running Insider builds should be looking to install Malwarebytes 3.

Version 3 Beta did install. However, version 2 is still a no go.

drtek  - Very good to know that you did install Malwarebytes 3.  Please discard Malwarebytes 2 because your o.s. is a PREVIEW BUILD that just does not play nice with the older version.

To all other readers:  IF your o.s. is a Insider Build of Windows 10  ( no matter which build) please use Malwarebytes 3.

For your information, Malwarebytes 3 is running just fine on several installations of Windows 10 Insider Preview builds.  Up to and now including build 14986  ( just out the past couple of days).
