Not sure what else you, @Firefox, posted since it tells me I don't have permission.

At any rate, downloaded the beta and got an error when attempting to install. See attached screen snip.

Just to provide some additional information regarding the BSOD, there are two settings that if set to be active they will eventually cause a BSOD.

  1. Detections and Protection: Scan for rootkits
  2. Advanced Settings: Enable self-protection module

These types of messages ( shown above) are from Insider Preview builds of Windows 10.  Those running Insider builds should be looking to install Malwarebytes 3.

I am aware of a few others who do have build 14971 ( or 14965 ) and have managed to install our current Beta 2 of Malwarebytes 3.

You should try installing our Malwarebytes 3 Beta program.   That is much more likely to be able to run.

Our Beta for Malwarebytes 3 has been announced & available for testing
https://forums.malwarebytes.org/topic/190369-announcing-beta-of-malwarebytes-30-a-next-generation-antivirus-replacement/

Folks on Insider Previews will do better with that.
p.s.  As long as you are on Insider Previews ( or if you are doing a O.S. upgrade) it is always best practice to fully Exit the Malwarebytes first prior to applying a Windows version upgrade or a new Insider Preview Build.
( right click the blue icon on the Taskbar and un-check Start with Windows and then click on EXIT ).
If you only have the free mode Malwarebytes, that last point is moot.

Thank you for the information.

I have uninstalled my older Malwarebytes and was able to install the beta version so we'll see what happens.

Just an FYI, I had another crash prior to accomplishing the above and have provided the information below:
