Infection Help

Recommended Posts

I got hit earlier with some win32Trojan.TDSS, removed just about everything but I have this pesky trojan.agent and rootkit.trace that don't seem to want to go away. When I run MWB it finds both trojan.agent and rootkit.trace, deletes one right away and asks me to reboot to delete the other. After rebooting if I run another quick scan both just show up again, it's worrying me. Any help at all would be appreciated (I apologize I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to this stuff).

Hi,

* Please visit this webpage for instructions for downloading and running ComboFix:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix

Post the log from ComboFix in your next reply.

Please make sure you disable ALL of your Antivirus/Antispyware/Firewall before running ComboFix..This because Security Software may see some components ComboFix uses (prep.com for example) as suspicious and blocks the tool, or even deletes it. Please visit HERE if you don't know how.
