Hello draph91 and welcome back.

If you are attempting to install the Consumer/Home/Beta version of Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware (MBARW Beta8), please attempt to go through the following steps:

1.) Delete any and all present copies of MBARW_Setup.exe.

2.) Restart the system in question.

3.) Download a new copy of the MBARW installer file only to an Administrator's desktop, and only from https://malwarebytes.box.com/s/znlajk1tlmzbm2x3vb4enkik7lreqxd9

4.) Right click on the new MBARW_Setup.exe and select "Run as administrator", and attempt to install MBARW Beta8 v0.9.17.661

Please report the status of the install attempt in your next post to this topic.  Thank you for participating in the MBARW Beta testing project.

Hello draph91:

Firstly, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner after you started this thread.

If you are generous enough with your personal time to help test MBARW Beta8, I am sure the devs will have the patience for your report.

Thank you draph91.

Hello draph91:

Anything that blocks the download and/or installation of MBARW_Setup.exe will need to be temporarily disabled.  Then when the install has completed, all can be returned to normal.

Thank you.

Hello draph91:

Q1) Does post #7 indicate that the newest download of MBARW_Setup.exe was a success?

Q2) Does a new install attempt indicate that the newly downloaded MBARW_Setup.exe is still corrupted?

The integrity of the newly downloaded MBARW_Setup.exe can be verified by uploading the setup file to https://www.virustotal.com/.  Then, after the analysis is completed, post the URL of the report that is produced in a reply to this topic.

Any additional help you may need is always available for the asking.
