Whatsapp Chrome Extension and App Blocked

Recommended Posts

I searched around a bit for an answer but couldn't really figure it all out.

I have been using the whatsapp chrome extension for several months.  I installed malwarebytes a few days ago.  Today malwarebytes blocked the site saying this:

Malicious Website Blocked.

Domain go2l.ink

Port 56747, outbound, and then a path to my chrome.exe file.

I have two whatsapp programs, one is an extension and one is an app.  I get the message with either.  Is this something I can allow or do I have to stop using malwarebytes (which I use to communicate with my daughter who is in the mountains of Ecuador teaching English)

Thanks, Deirdre
