VBA code gets blocked - need selective exclusions

Hi,

I recently posted in the post shown below about how AE started (neart the end of Oct) blocking my VBA code.

After that post, Arthi replied and asked me for the logs. However, when I then run the app again, AE did not block VBA (was there another udpate?).

In any case, yesterday I opened my Excel file and the same thing happened again. I turned off VBA in AE and it all worked ok.

I have attached the relevant files for you to examine.

Please note that turning off *all* VBA checking, means that I am exposed to such risks.

It would be much better to have an exclusion list of XLS(X) files.

As for why my code trips AE, it is because it contains code like

Shell "explorer.exe """ & datapath & "", vbNormalFocus

Cheers,

Nick
