Database update automatic?

Recommended Posts

I am using and have been using premium version of MWB for some time. I was under the impression that the database updates happened automatically with premium. Today I logged on to program and it said my database needed updating. I am in the process of moving so haven't been on pc checking out my programs for awhile. Thanks for help.

Yes the premium version updates automatically according to the schedule you have set on your computer. The fact that you got a notification is because as you mention you are moving and haven't been on your computer.

Computer can not automatically update if the computer is not on.

We will need more info to see if we can figure out what's happening. By any chance, is the computer setup to go to sleep or hibernation?

We would need more info on the system....

Please read the following and in your next reply ATTACH the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs
(the three files should be CheckResults.txt, FRST.txt and Addition.txt)

Thank You,

I have installed on my PC Malwarebytes 3.0 Premium and I also was under the impression that the database would automatically updated every time I would turn on my PC either from being off or waking up from hibernation or in sleep status. I understand that it would not update  automatically while in these statuses but when I wake up or turn the PC on and it connects to internet it should automatically update instead of having me manually open the Malwarebytes program to update it. IT should do it automatically or let me setup a schedule within the program to do it every so many minutes, hours, days, etc. Thank you for any assistance in this matter.
