Download attached fixlist.txt file (end of reply) and save it to the Desktop, or the folder you saved FRST into.
NOTE. It's important that both FRST and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work.

Open FRST and press the Fix button just once and wait.
The tool will make a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt) or the folder it was ran from. Please post it to your reply.

Next,

Please open Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

  • On the Settings tab > Detection and Protection sub tab, Detection Options, tick the box "Scan for rootkits".
  • Under Non-Malware Protection sub tab Change PUP and PUM entries to Treat detections as Malware
  • Click on the Scan tab, then click on Scan Now >> . If an update is available, click the Update Now button.
  • A Threat Scan will begin.
  • When the Scan is complete Apply Actions to any found entries.
  • Wait for the prompt to restart the computer to appear (if applicable), then click on Yes.
  • After the restart once you are back at your desktop, open MBAM once more.

To get the log from Malwarebytes do the following:

  • Click on the History tab > Application Logs.
  • Double click on the Scan log which shows the Date and time of the scan just performed.
  • Click Export > From export you have three options:

Alright, I've done the scans and such, and as requested, I've attached the files you asked of to this post.

Kaspersky found nothing, so there was no log. I took a nap, and when I woke up, the screen was black and had "Select boot drive or insert boot media" so I simply clicked reset on the machine when pressing a button did nothing but bring the same text on the screen again.

AdwCleaner[C0].txt

Fixlog.txt

MalwareBytesLog.txt

Minidump.zip

Download and run SFCFix

Please download and run SFCFix from here: www.sysnative.com/niemiro/apps/SFCFix.exe

It will take about 15 minutes to process. You will be prompted to select any key to continue several times, Please do so

Once the scan has completed a notepad file called SFCFix.txt will launch with the results.

Please copy or attach that file to your reply...

So far I can note several changes;

  • Faster boot times
  • Instead of my PC crashing, the games now crash instead.
  • When I boot my PC, I no longer need to unplug the wireless headset USB stick to prevent it getting stuck on the motherboard info screen.

The last one has always puzzled me, as it seems like a random chance. In either case, things seem far more stable now, and I'm extremely thankful for the help, Kevin!

Thanks for the update, good to hear your system is ok.... Regarding the game have you tried reinstalling?

I gues we can clean up:

Download "Delfix by Xplode" and save it to your desktop.

Or use the following if first link is down:

"Delfix link mirror"

If your security program alerts to Delfix either, accept the alert or turn your security off.

Double Click to start the program. If you are using Vista or higher, please right-click and choose run as administrator

Make Sure the following items are checked:

  • Remove disinfection tools <----- this will remove tools we have used.
  • Purge System Restore <--- this will remove all previous and possibly exploited restore points, a new point relative to system status at present will be created.
  • Reset system settings <--- this will reset any system settings back to default that were changed either by us during cleansing or malware/infection

Now click on "Run" and wait patiently until the tool has completed.

The tool will create a log when it has completed. We don't need you to post this.

Any remnant files/logs from tools we have used can be deleted…

I opted to have it reopened, as I still have the bluescreens. Sadly, I actually suspect it to be either the RAM being on its last legs, or the HDD beginning to fail.

Both are five years old as of today, so age might have taken its toll on the HDD at the very least.

Thanks, those dump files are the same as you attached previously. I thought there may have been a more recent dump file.. There was no indication of hardware issues eg Ram or HDD, those dumps indicated a driver issue with your graphics card. Can you go to the Manufacturers website and check for updated driver, see if that helps...

Well, I removed the gpu and cleaned it, but the PC is not booting now. Not even making the startup beep either.

I've tried to take the RAM out and putting it back in. With no RAM in, it makes a long beep every few seconds.

The screen doesn't seem to pick up that a pc exists either, which is very troubling to me. Everything should be plugged up just fine, but I'm very afraid I've caused an even bigger issue unknowingly.

Now I'm definitely in deep waters.

I refitted the RAM with a bit more of a push this time, and thankfully now it booted properly.

I'm going to assume the longer boot time than usual is due to Windows 10 and its "quick boot" feature. Guess time will tell if this fix worked, but I'm going to see if a blue screen pops up again from normal use, like you told me to in a previous post.
