Hi,

First of all, uninstall Ewido and AVG Anti-Spyware Guard because both are outdated /not supported anymore.

Reboot afterwards.

Then, * Please install Avira Antivirus: http://www.free-av.com/

Perform a full scan with Avira and let it delete everything it is finding.

Then reboot.

After reboot, open your Avira and select "reports".

There doubleclick the report from the Full scan you have done. Click the "Report File" button and copy and paste this report in your next reply.

Also, * Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • In case you already used MBAM previously, please update it before proceeding with the scan. To do this, click the "Update" tab and click the "Check For updates" button.
  • Once the program has loaded and updates were downloaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log.

Extra Note:

If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediatly.

Well I uninstalled ewido and avg, and downloaded avira, but it doesn't seem to be installing. I get a bar saying it is installing and it goes all the way to the end and then it doesn't open. I'm not sure where it is installing itself. Unfortunately the virus has made my task bar disappear and I can't search for files.

The virus has prevented most of the antivirus programs from running that I have tried. I tried to install the latest version of malwareby but when I try to run it I get an error message "run time372 Failed to load 'vbalGrid' from vbalsgrid6.ocx". I had a friend download the latest version of malwarebyes installation and burn it onto a CD under a different name. I can install it but not actually run it even though I changed the name of the .exe file. Also the virus keeps trying to uninstall malwarebyes.

Hi,

I have the feeling that this is a lost case already, which is normal since you didn't even have an Antivirus installed. Your computer must be crippled with malware already and it may have caused a lot of damage already as well...

Let's try the following, but don't expect miracles:

Avira AntiVir Rescue System

Requires access to a working computer with a CD/DVD burner to create a bootable CD.

  • Download the
    Avira AntiVir Rescue System
    from
    here
  • Place a blank CD in your burner and double-click on the downloaded file.

  • The program will automatically burn the CD for you.

  • Place the burned CD into the affected computer and start the computer from this CD.

  • On the bottom left side of the screen there are 2 flags. Using your mouse click on the British flag to use English.

  • Click on the
    Configuration
    button.

    • Select
      Scan all files
    • Select
      Try to repair infected files
      and
Rename files, if they cannot be removed

    • Select
      Scan for dialers

    • Select
      Scan for joke programs (Jokes)

    • Select
      Scan for games

    • Select
      Scan for spyware (SPR)

    [*]
    Click on
    Virus scanner

    [*]
    Click on
    Start scanner
at the bottom of the screen

    [*]
Currently the program does not support saving a log. Write down the amount of items for Records, Suspect files, and Warnings

The Avira AntiVir Rescue System is a Linux-based application that allows accessing computers that cannot be booted anymore and is updated several times a day so that the most recent security updates are always available.

Screen resolution problems

Please see the post
here
if you're unable to view the entire screen of Avira.
