Can'y update Malwarebytes. Need help.

Here's the thing, my computer and pendrive was infected with shortcut virus and I knew that a few moments ago. Then I realized a few programs couldn't start (Registry editor, Malwarebytes and some more). After I installed UsbFix and removed autorun.imf from both comp and drive, everything came back to normal and I reinstalled Malwarebytes I'm using USB tethering as Internet connection since the ethernet plug is nonfunctional. Malwarebytes just cant update while scanning and the version stays at v2016.02.16.06. Won't go to latest ver...

Let's try this first....

  1. Please follow the steps in this pinned topic to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
  2. If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and attach to your next reply the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs(the 3 logs are: FRST.txt, Addition.txt and CheckResults.txt)

Also if we can get the results from this below:

Please open a command prompt and type in the following,
nslookup  data-cdn.mbamupdates.com
What do you get?
Then type in the following and press the Enter key
ping   data-cdn.mbamupdates.com
What do you get?
