I have lost everything this time. I have BSOD non stop since march. I can not take this anymore. I have already sent the computer back to HP and they sent it back and put a new Ethernet and network card in it. Now this computer that's new since March and has done it since I bought it, now my Dell that Iv had since 2013 is doing it. They all have one thing in common and the logs now show me that Its your protection that has been making me going in circles crying I have lost all my memories and documents now. PLEASE lets work on this right now and lets fix this. Then when I'm done with this were going to get my other laptop that wont go past a black screen at login after it BSOD with the same exact Critical Kernal System service exeption due to Tcpip.sys causing the BSOD. Microsoft and I have reinstalled windows 7 times now. HP AND Dell both now have done all they can. Everytime I get a new computer I have no choice but to install your service. I live in a church. We are targets constantly with attacks that your service blocks the malware all the time. I can not be without Malwarebytes. This is NOT an option. The only option is for someone here to start telling me what to do. The BSOD made it all the way from restore to the very last update that was MS windows 10 latest build update and it Crashed. Before that I clicked on a youtube video and got the BSOD . It always happens to me in the moments I am trying to browse safe and to update. It says its a Ip type issue and Malwarebytes is the blame I have learned. That explains why I have restarted and your service is not running and didn't start like it always does. Its not even running. When I first reinstalled it today the Realtime protection kept saying "Off" and I would say Fix and turn on from the right bottom right clicking. I restarted the service in Admin tools and it didn't work. I had to restart 3 times and run Fixdamage. I cant keep this up. Please help me!! I just want to play online again!!

2 Notes:
- if you have BitDefender 2016, please update it to the latest version available from the BitDefender website.
- if you have MalwareBytes enabled for rootkit scanning, please disable it and see if it helps.

Beyond that, please run this report collecting tool so that we can provide a complete analysis: (from the pinned topic at the top of the forum):

t

FYI - I don't often use the Perfmon report, so if it doesn't work please just let me know.
NOTE:  On problem systems it can take up to 20 minutes for the log files to complete.  Please be patient and let it run.

If you still have problems with it running, there's an alternate tool here (direct download link):  https://github.com/blueelvis/BSOD-Inspector/releases/download/1.0.5/BSODInspector-1.0.5.exe

NOTE:
Please zip up the (.ZIP) files - do not use .RAR or other compression utilities.
.ZIP is the type file that can be uploaded to the forums.

  • 1 month later...

I have tried all the steps on disabling root scan. I uninstalled malwarebytes premuim last month and for the first time in 7 months I no longer have BSOD issues at all. Not even once since uninstalling the service. They said malwarebytes works with Mcafee total protection but it doesnt. They want to troubleshoot with me and reinstall it but I can't blue screen anymore. I don't know what else to do. How do we get refunds?

Thank you

Scott Tomlinson

Happens on Insider 14965 aswell when internet is heavily used

Hello Hawai_Beach.

Our Beta for Malwarebytes 3 has been announced & available for testing

Folks on Insider Previews will do better with that.   I would simply suggest that you first have build 14965   ( not earlier builds) prior to getting our Beta.
p.s.  As long as you are on Insider Previews ( or if you are doing a o.s. upgrade) it is always best practice to fully Exit the Malwarebytes first prior to applying a Windows version upgrade.
( right click the blue icon on the Taskbar and un-check Start with Windows and then click on EXIT ).
If you only have the free mode Malwarebytes, that last point is moot.

I am now running one system with build 14965 with Malwabytes beta 2 ( 3.0.2)
