Databases out of date?

Hi. Every time I try to update Malwarebyte's databases it just searches for updates continuously until it eventually gives up and goes back to the original screen.

Is this a problem with Malwarebytes' servers or is it a problem on my end? As a scroll down these forums, this appears to be a fairly common issue. Yesterday the download page for Malwarebytes Anti-malware wouldn't even load for me, now it does however. Around the same time I got my friend to see if it worked for him, worked on his end.

Hello and Welcome to Malwarebytes :)

There are many factors that can cause this issue, from upgrading your OS, to possible corrupted install.

Let's try this first and see if it helps....

  1. Please follow the steps in this pinned topic to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
  2. If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and attach to your next reply the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs(the 3 logs are: FRST.txt, Addition.txt and CheckResults.txt)
