Malicious Website Protection

Hello MBAM forum,

I'd like to know how MBAM Malicious Website Protection works. Does it only work for some / certain browsers, or does it work for all browsers?

I have Windows 10 and would like to hear exactly what protection MBAM provides with regards to malicious websites on each browser.

Hi Krusty,

I actually got a warning for the first time in years since I've been using MBAM Pro. 

I was using Chrome when MBAM blocked a malicious website. I'm guessing that it just detects the URL and throws up a warning page in your browser.

Sort of.  I was hoping to hear if MBAM would also block malicious sites in Microsoft Edge and Cyberfox, as well as the common browsers  -  IE, FF and Chrome.

MBAM is not blocking based on the browser. It should block at a lower level.
