Hello Yoan,

Thank you for your help.  I'll signin later this afternoon again.  By the way, when I powered up my computer this morning, I remembered to do the F8 method, and Safe Mode selection and I left the screen. After a few moments I returned to see the Win7 blue screen with the message "Failure converting Windows Updates. Reverting changes. Do not turn off your computer." I don't remember seeing this other times when I Safe Mode started. It took about 10 minutes to get to my login screen. Is this a problem?

Thanks,

Jeff

Please upload the new CBS.log and WindowsUpdate.log for me. Maybe this time, the error message will be different. Basically, we uninstalled the update that was associated with the components Windows was hanging on when installing your update, in a hope that it will allow it to go through.

Hello,

Here is the update log attached.  I am working on uploading the cbs .txt file now, and will post the link tonight.  By the way, I may not be able to devote my full attention to this forum on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.

WindowsUpdate.log

Thanks,

Jeff

Let's try something. My guess is that it'll return an error, but I would like to see just in case.

Alright, now let's try something. We'll delete that folder and see if the update goes through. If not, we'll recreate it and populate it with the files that belongs there and see if the update goes through this time.
