Hello,
I had D/L the Beta of MBAR, and it was working fine.
After about a month, I noticed in my tray that it got a message that said.....
"Anti Ransomware Protection is Disabled".
So I clicked on "Fix Now"
AND
Start Protection.
Neither one worked and MBAR Software sits, disabled on my computer.
I am running version (BETA) 0.9.16.484
I am running Windows 10 on a new HP Pavilion Computer.

Any help, Tips ect would be appreciated.

Hello Blackmagic and :welcome:

Using the native Windows built-in zip utility, please create the following 2, separate, .zip archive files for MBARW developer team analysis:

1. Create a .zip archive file (not .7z or .rar) of the directory C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware\
2. Create a separate .zip archive file (not .7z or .rar) of the directory C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService\logs\

Please attach the 2 .zip archives to your next reply.  Thank you for your beta testing contribution to the Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware (MBARW Beta) project and your valued feedback.

I Thank you for the instructions, but I don't know where to even begin, as I'm not really that computer savvy.
I copied your first instructions..."

C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware\"
But what I got was a page with "Parent directory"  so I'm not sure what you want or how to proceed from there?

Hello @Dick and :welcome:

It is disappointing to read your Consumer Beta testing system is having MBARW Beta issues but each computer is unique.  Problems that seem "the same" frequently are not.  The same is true for solutions.  Solutions may often need to be individualized for your unique testing system.

It is less confusing for everyone if a "One Member Per Topic" policy is adhered to instead of posting to the topic of another member.  Development Team Members, Staffers, and Helpers will be able to more easily provide both you and the OP/Topic Starter, with individualized assistance.

Please start a NEW, and SEPARATE topic by left-clicking this >>Start New Topic<< link now.

Thank you always for your patience and understanding.
