malwarebytes freeze when scanning

hello. i recently got this antivirus pro 2009 virus and i wasnt able to install or run malwarebytes to get rid of it. i have been finally able to ( by reading this forum) to install and run malwarebytes. Now my new problem is that when i update and scan the program. it freezes at the 2 min mark. here is my hijackthis log. please help. im about to give up and reformat my computer.

i did start a new tread and posted my hijack logs. can anyone help me? malwarebytes is still freezing around the 2 min mark when i try t scan it. thanks
