MWB twice detected Trojan.Agent.ENM... is my PC still at risk?

Recommended Posts

Hello, MWB has now twice found and removed Trojan.Agent.ENM. Norton also seems to detect and remove it at the same time. NPE doesn't find anything ever. I've seen another thread on here about removing this malware but read the warning about not following instructions as they're only for that person's system. I'm suspecting the malware is still lurking on my laptop. Pls can someone point me in the direction for checking it it gone?

I am on Windows 7, with Norton AV and doing free Malwarebytes checks daily. MWB first found it 10 days ago and then again today. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hello and :welcome:, @Nordica:

It sounds as if you are still infected. You might want to get a bit of free, expert help with cleanup.

Such work is conducted in a special forum area reserved for that purpose, or at the help desk.

So, for expert assistance, I suggest that you please follow the advice in this pinned topic: Available Assistance For Possibly Infected Computers.
It explains the options for free, expert help >>AND<< the suggested, preliminary steps to expedite the process.
A malware analyst will assist you with looking into your issue - the helper will guide you through scanning, cleanup and repair.

Thank you,
