Hey Everyone,

I have been fumbling around trying to find the correct syntax to silently uninstall current and prior versions of MalwareBytes. So far, I have one that will do the job, but when it encounters some machines it pops up a dialog box asking the user to restart in order to complete the process. Is there any way to suppress the restart dialog box on uninstall? If I can get that the only thing I will be left with is the brief progress bar that pops up during the process. I'm not sure how that is considered silent, but at least it doesn't hang up the process.

This is what I am using now with limited success...

"C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\unins000.exe" /SILENT

Any guidance would be appriciated..

Thanks,

J

That's kind of our "snafu".. We purchased a handful of licenses for when we need something other than our McAfee suite. What I am trying to prevent is our techs leaving copies on machines and surpassing our license limit. To be honest, I'm not sure if we have corporate support or not. I did not personally purchase the licenses so I would have to ask the person in finance.

Thanks,

J
