Hello Since yesterday My Mcafee would not detect internet connection and same was the case with MalwareBytes.

I first checked for Mcafee issues and removed it compleatly and downloaded the DMSetup from a good machine and stated it on the infected one

it dose not work no matter what i do ( deleted Mcafee related registry entries and used the McPreInstall.exe, IERegFix.bat, MCPR.exe all of these were taken from Mcafee fourms. none helped.

Now going thu the "Common issues and questions, and their solutions" hear i copied the rules.ref via net work drive and copied that too the infected(?) machine and initated the quick scan and it found nothing. Now what should i do to get back onto safe shore?

when trying to update Malwarebytes still gives 732(0 0) error.

All help is appreciated

Please read the following link in our forum. Specifically issues 1, 2 & 3. These issues also directly relate to updating, as well as most all Protection Module errors. Trend Micro & McAfee users pay special attention to the other links regarding your software.

Adding those files applies to all security software installed and your firewall too.
