Hi, I would like to ask for help to solve the "Has Stopped Working" error. My system is Windows Vista 32-bit SP2. Thank You.

The behavior you report sounds as if MBAM has crashed.  (It should work just fine under Vista, BTW.)

We need a bit more information in order to better assist you.

Please read the following and attach to your next reply the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 3 logs are: FRST.txt, Addition.txt and CheckResults.txt)

Thank you,

Thank You for the reply. Here you go with the logs. The mbam check program crashed itself just like mbam.

Hello:

Thank you for the logs.

Yes, the CheckResults.txt log from mbam-check is incomplete, probably because of the crash.

The logs do show modifications and changes suggestive of malware infection. There are quite a few other issues, as well (such as no installed anti-virus).

As such, I suggest heading over to the malware removal forum for some free, expert help with cleaning and repairing the system. The helper can also suggest measures to help prevent future infections; those will be limited by the fact that you are running Vista, which is no longer supported by MS for security patches or other important updates.  I suggest reading this pinned topic first: Available Assistance for Possibly Infected Computers
Then, please just start a new post in the malware removal area, attaching your FRST logs to your new post.

>>Before you do, however, you will need to fully remove from the computer all illegal, pirated and cracked software and other content, as per the forum Piracy Policy. Once you have done that, a malware helper will be happy to assist you.

Thanks very much,

Yup, I know that. Thanks for the info. However, I have no idea why MBAM hasn't been working for so long even before this crack stuffs or any infections.

Recently, I just wanted to perform a scan and remove the tough Trojan Coin Miner. ESET online scanner found them and deleted them but it couldn't stop the trojan from reproduction. So, I wanted to try with MBAM but it ended up with crash. So, I was forced to use RogueKiller and it worked wonderfully for my Vista.

Don't worry, it won't stop me from selecting MBAM to be first or second in my priority list for removing malware for other systems in the future. ;)

Thanks and Regards.
