Not a valid Win32 application

Recommended Posts

Hi

My laptop was becoming sluggish so decided it was time for some housekeeping. My previously downloaded Malwarebytes was not able to connect to the server to update, so I tried to download a new one. Whereupon I got the message "...is not a valid Win32 application." I also tried to download some other clean up tools which also resulted in the same error message.

After having a dig around I found the following topic and followed the steps provided by TwinHeadedEagle as far as I could regarding running FSRT:

https://forums.malwarebytes.org/topic/168494-not-a-valid-win32-application-error-when-running-an-exe-file-inclu-mbam/

I have included the output files, but I've no idea what they mean or what I should do next. Can anyone help?

Many thanks

jo

Yes, it was exactly what I was expecting. Your hard drive has reached the end of life that is also shown by these errors below. You should backup your important files and buy a new hard drive.
