Malwarebytes and Chameleon not running

I downloaded the free version but would happily purchase the pro version if I could get it to work. History: Several apps wouldn't open today, such as iTunes, although I can get to the internet. I couldn't get my AVG anti-virus to "turn on" per the windows notification. I decided to download malware bytes and couldn't get the app to open, either, although it appeared to successfully install. I tried Chameleon, but it froze at the 1800 second timeout DOS message and I couldn't even close it without a hard reboot. I have tried downloading Kapersky but that won't even finish installation. I have no idea what happened. Please help!!!
