It is a legitimate program, yes. However, I have no idea of what your current security setup is, and I have no idea if Xvirus is compatible with every Antivirus, Antimalware, etc. programs out there. I would ask these questions directly in the Xvirus thread over at Wilders or the one on MalwareTips.

It may be legit.

But if it's flagging MBAM files as malware/suspicious, then that's a pretty serious F/P.
It sounds as if that needs to be reported to the developer.

P.S. @mrdodrop, your MBAM dashboard in the screen shot shows that MBAM removed some items.  You already have several other threads here in other forum sections suggesting at least the possibility of incompletely cleared or recurrent infection.  Rather than cross-posting all over the forum with snippets of logs and reports of issues running/updating MBAM, it might be more efficient for you to please start with the advice here:  Available Assistance for Possibly Infected Computers. Then, you may wish to please start a new, separate thread in the malware removal forum in order to get a bit of free, expert assistance with scanning, cleanup and repair.
