Website still being blocked after adding web exclusion

Recommended Posts

Several months ago I was able to go to hashnest.com and bitmain.com and other websites being run by them, but all of a sudden I was unable to reach it, I keep getting an error saying that the connection has timed out. But when I turned off Malicious Website Protection on my MBAM, I was able to go to those websites again. I added hashnest.com, *.hashnest.com, bitmain.com, *.bitmain.com to the web exclusion on MBAM and turned on the Malicious Website Protection, but it still won't let me connect to the website. Other people who uses this website that have MBAM are not experiencing this issue.

Hello maxman190 and :welcome:

The experts will want to analyze MBAM's Daily Protection Log that coincides with the time that web connections could not be made.  Please attach to your next reply in .txt file format.  Additionally, also attach the files from the instructions below.

  1. Please read the topic Diagnostic Logs and then individually ATTACH the 3 requested logs in your next reply to this thread only.
  2. The 3 files, from Step 1, to be individually ATTACHED from your desktop are CheckResults.txt, FRST.txt and Addition.txt. Please do not Zip or Copy and Paste them into a reply. Please do not alter, any FRST categories as the configuration is well suited for this forum.

Thank You.

Hello and Welcome!

Well we would really like to help you further if we could but since the logs show that this computer has entries designed to steal and/or pirate software from Microsoft we will not be able to assist you without you removing and/or uninstalling the pirated software.

This topic will be closed by one of the Admins or Mods due to evidence of cracked or pirated software on this system.

Current Piracy Policy

Thank you

They are being blocked. Just testing.

I'm able to reach it on my laptop using same version of MBAM, other people are able to reach it as well, just not my desktop.

Also, the only reason I bought a legitimate license for MBAM is for the support, didn't realize I was going to be denied support because of other software that I'm using. That's good to know for future reference.

You are not being denied support, we are just asking you to removed pirated content before getting support... that is all... once any pirated software is removed, you just have repost your clean logs and support is given.
