Quick question. -- Any chance that Malwarebytes is planning on developing exploit protection for MacOS? it would be great to have exploit protection for Safari or is it not necessary? I know that apps from the Mac app store are sandboxed any chance that apple also sandboxes Safari?

At the moment, no. Currently, Apple has the most significant bases covered, by enforcing minimum allowed versions of web plugins like Adobe Flash Player, which are generally the sources of remotely exploitable vulnerabilities on the Mac. However, this is nonetheless something that we've got our eye on, and we're thinking about ways we could do something like anti-exploit on the Mac in a meaningful way.
