I purchased Malwarebytes yesterday to get rid of a chrome extension that is causing problems.  When I open chrome it takes me to a screen similar to google but says "Search" instead of "Google".  I also cant click on any links on a webpage or it takes me to another page unrelated.  Tried uninstalling chrome but comes right back up.  It is also in internet explorer and firefox.  From what I can tell it hasn't made its way to Edge yet.  I can't manually disable or delete the extension which is called search solutions.  From what I can tell it is by searchengage.com.  I ran MB and it did not remove or find the extension.  It is very annoying and slows down my browser and pretty much makes chrome useless.  Any help would be appreciated.  Running Windows 10.

Your post indicates the computer is probably infected and malware removal actions are not permitted in this subforum.

I recommend following the advice from the topic: Available Assistance for Possibly Infected Computers and have one of the Malware Removal Experts assist you with your issue.

If you would like to get off to a very fast start, the Malware Removal Experts would appreciate it if you would also attach (not copy/paste) both the FRST.txt and the Addition.txt output diagnostic reports from only Log Set 1 into your new topic. Please do not tick, nor untick, any pre-configured FRST categories.
