Teerac.gen A

Recommended Posts

I seem to have gotten Behavior:Win32:Teerac.gen!A

I downloaded the beta here, as I have (if memory serves here I have been doing this for 40 years now) not previously installed Malware-bites.

Now I have it quarantined and I delete it every boot yet it persists. I do know it is written at least in part in Autoit and If I knew the version it was

written in I would have a better chance of defeating this. What distress me is the beta here did not catch such a SEVERE Virus. Now I must admit I did not

edit boot so it loaded first, that is reserved for my fshoster realtime security. " Which also did not catch it, however MS security Essentials did, and saved me a lot of pain. I do have other systems to use win7 64 home, Win7 64 Pro, Win 8.1 64, but this is my only 32 bit machine I use for games and the like, the 64bit are all used professionally, so I just loaded the Beta here tonight to see if it could help me. So it guess it is back to work.

Hello ChristineReardon:

If Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta7 (v was installed on the Windows system that displayed the Behavior:Win32:Teerac.gen!A alert, please follow the following request:

Please carefully read the locked and pinned topic in this sub-forum, How to report a False Positive and for developer analysis, kindly attach the 3 requested .zip archives to your next reply in this thread.

If an exclusion has not already been entered, a temporary exclusion entry might then be made available to prevent a re-occurrence for your individual system.  Thank you for beta testing MBARW and your feedback.
