Anti-ransomware for mac

I am new here, but have been trying to help test software for Malwarebytes since I find these products very helpful in my line of work. I tried searching in this forum to see if there is a Macintosh compatible version and have not seen anything. Does anyone have an insight into if or when there will be a mac version as it is not only windows targeted by these attacks? Thank you for any help.

At this time, there's no Mac anti-ransomware product. There has only ever been one Mac ransomware app, and it is dead at this point. So this is not currently a major issue.

It could become an issue in the future, of course, so we are investigating options for dealing with such threats, should that happen.
