Got hit with ransomware anyway

Please create the following zipped archives for MBARW developer team analysis:

Create a .zip archive of the directory C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware\
Create another .zip archive of the directory C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService\logs\

Please attach the above zipped archives to your next reply.  Thank you for beta testing MBARW and your valuable feedback.

Hi Blipper,

Reading this thread just this morning.   What details  ( like description or name) do you have on what you saw?

Seems to me, that if a reboot managed to get rid of "it"  ( whatever it was) then, the likelyhood was that your pc ran into some other type of "thing".

Was any of it just a odd display in a web browser ?   What had led you to conclude it was a ransomware ?   any definite & persistent demand for bitcoin money ?

or that any of your user documents have become "un-readable"?
