Afternoon Project - Fractal Antenna

People don't think about antennas Today.  They get cable and few have Yagi Antennas in their attic anymore.

When I was younger I played around with Dipole and Folded Dipole Antennas.  They were neat and they worked but their design is based upon the frequency you want to receive.  That's why Yagi Antennas have a series of Dipole Antennas in an array of lengths.  Each Dipole tuned to a different frequency ( channel ).

I was talking with an old friend who is a radio engineer, Ham Operator and hobbyist and he and I got into an antenna discussion.  We soon got into discussing Fractal Antennas.

A long story shortened, he told me to give it shot - make one and to "Google Ruckman".  So I did.

Information wasn't hard to find Google Dork.

For those of you who are also hobbyists, you may want to look at WiFi Antenna made from a Pringles can
