Hi my brother has a Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy Tab A and he has a adware problem with his devices but I'm not sure if this came with his devices or if it was installed against his consent. Here's some screenshots:

It pops up randomly and its very annoying for him.

Hi, @Baldape,

Since both of those devices run Android, you might have your brother check out the free Anti-malware for Mobile app in the Play Store.  See https://www.malwarebytes.org/mobile/'

for more details.

He already has Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Android on both of his devices and MBAM found nothing. But MBAM isn't bullet proof things can slip through it. Thats why I'm asking if anyone recognizes the screenshots because maybe its some sort of Samsung adware, Because Samsung has been sneaking in more bloatware of late.:(

Sorry, in reading your first post it wasn't obvious that he had those installed.  The screen shot is one big mashup and I cannot make it larger to see anything in either.

Saving it to my computer, I'd say it looks like some sort of malware, but I'm not sure.

I was just looking at my brothers devices and scrolled down to the bottom of the ad in question and it says powered by TouchPal so its definitely adware. And its sad because its basically spyware TP tracks everything you type on it and shares the telemetry with advertisers also I believe TP is a Chinese company so the Chinese could insert spyware if they wanted to.

Hi, @Baldape:

In addition to @John L. Galt's excellent advice, we have a special forum area reserved for assistance with MBAM-Mobile and Android devices HERE.

For help with malware removal on that platform, I suggest following the advice here in THIS PINNED TOPIC to log a ticket with the Help Desk.

Thanks,

Thanks but I think I can call this problem solved.
