Staff treed Posted April 12, 2016 Staff ID:1033625 Share Posted April 12, 2016 Yes, put an EICAR test file in the following folder: /Users/Shared/Malwarebytes/ Once it's in that folder, a scan should pick it up. The file can have any name you like, as long as it has the proper EICAR test file contents. (This is necessary because MBAM for Mac scans are location-based, and it does not do full disk scans.)
