Trojan.Agent.ED found and removed. Is computer clean?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have just scanned my computer with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Home, and it detected the following items:

Trojan.Agent.ED

PUP.Optional.Yontoo (13 of these)

PUP.Optional.OpenCandy

PUP.Optional.BundleInstaller.DW

PUP.Optional.Babylon

I quarentined and then deleted all the files and then re-ran Malwarebytes twice. It is saying the computer is clean now, but can I be sure that it is?

Many thanks!

Caroline

Hello and Welcome to Malwarebytes

More than likely your computer is now clean, however if you want to be completely sure, there is more scans that need to be run, and that can be done with the help of an expert on a one to one basis.

So, for expert assistance, I suggest that you please follow the advice in this pinned topic: Available Assistance For Possibly Infected Computers.

It explains the options for free, expert help -->>AND<<-- the suggested, preliminary steps to expedite the process.
A malware analyst will assist you with looking into your issue.

Thank you
