False Positive - Trainz: A New Era

Hi

I'm new here, but have been running the Anti-Ransomware Beta for a couple of weeks now. Have been having issues with it identifying a piece of software I use regularly (a computer game) as being ransomware. Adding it as an exclusion doesn't seem to make any difference, next reboot causes it to be flagged and removed again. The game is 'Trainz: A New Era' by N3V Games.

Attached are the zip files requested in the sticky.

Thanks

Hello S301 and welcome:

Available data does suggest a false positive and, if it has not already been done, you may wish to make the following temporary full pathname file entry in MBARW GUI Dashboard -> Exclusions:

                                           I:\Trainz A New Era\TANE\TANE.exe

At any time, a development team member, QA team member or staffer may request the above temporary exclusion be altered/removed.

Thank you for beta testing MBARW and your valuable feedback.
