google virus

not sure if this is the right spot for this posting or not... i'm new here and not computer-savvy at all. i just downloaded malwarebytes yesterday and there were about 7 infected items (adware, rootkit) which i removed. i didn't take out the disabled.security items (there were 2) b/c i wasn't sure if this was just because i turned auto notification off.

anyhoo, i'd deleted the offending items and thought all was solved, but i used google this morning and i'm back to square 1. the only things that malwarebytes shows on its report are those two disabled.security items.

could anyone suggest what i should do next?
