Hi, I'm using MBAM v without any problem on Win7 SP1 64-bit and Win 8.1 64-bit. I checked it twice, that I have no infection.

When I update to MBAM v2.2.1.1042 (newest version), the installtion finished without any problem.

But when I start this new version, nothing happens. The proram starts, I will see it in the task manager, and then finished.
So I installed again the 2.1.61022 Version which work again fine (without problems, without detecting any infection).

I also removed the old version before I install the new version - same problem.

Any help about this topic?

Hello and welcome:

Is this the same computer as the one in your other topic**?

Maybe this is because this Workstation is behind a squid proxy.

The reason for asking is that it sounds as if this is a work/business computer?

If so, the proxy could be interfering with activation.
In addition, per the EULA, MBAM Consumer is for use only on personal home computers.
There is a different version of MBAM, with different licensing, for business/work/government/educational/non-profit use; it is MBAM Business, version 1.80
So, if this is a business system, you might want to contact the Business Help Desk HERE.
They can assist you with installation/configuration of the proper MBAM software for your environment, and with proper licensing.

>>If this is not a business computer, please read the following and attach the 3 requested logs to your next reply here in this thread: Diagnostic Logs
>>The 3 logs to attach are: FRST.txt, Addition.txt and CheckResults.txt

Thank you,

**One other thing: if this is a business system, it is not advisable to be running MBARW-BETA in a production environment, especially a business system.
