Advanced settings greyed out after update.

Recommended Posts

Advanced settings are available only to Trial and Premium users.

They are not enabled in Free, which is only a manual scanner.
So, there is no way (and no need) to disable them.

The reason you see them ticked (but grayed out) is because those are the default settings, if the program were to activated to Premium with a valid license.

I see, I thought that it automatically forced itself as a startup app, without a way of turning it off (without going to services etc.). It seems I was wrong. I dont want to be further aggrevating, but may I point out that its not a great design decision as it can mislead people to thinking its automatically gonna start with windows.

Basically, adding a header saying "These features are only available in Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium" under tabs that aren't available in the Free version would do the trick for you?

It would need to say: "...Trial or Premium...".

The explanation is in the User Guide, but I realize few people read that.:D

Thanks again,
