Hi, team,

Been a while.  Just wanted to let you know that with the latest Preview build of Windows 10, I had to disable the Microsoft Edge protection.  The steps that caused the lockup in Edge follow.

  1. Opened Feedback hub (new joint Insider and feedback application for Windows 10 Insider builds)
  2. Opened the quest item to view the proposed changes to the Action Center's Entry Point
  3. Clicked on link to view the information online in Microsoft Edge

Edge refused to respond until I closed it and then disabled protection in MBAE.

  • Windows 10 version 1511 (OS Build 14291.1001)
  • MBAE 1189

Any other info required, please let me know.

I cannot reproduce it anymore either.  I suspect it was build specific, as in it occurred always on Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14271 but now that I have moved on to Build 14291, I am having no issues.

Another possibility, which I am currently testing, is that Edge was launched from a third party process, namely a forum post with a link to download a file (that file being the MBARW beta, no less :p).

If it happens again I'll grab logs immediately and post.
