[SOLVED] Some sub-forums fail to indicate unread content

Recommended Posts

Hello All:

https://forums.malwarebytes.org/forum/70-beta-testing-program/

https://forums.malwarebytes.org/forum/130-open-betas/

If the subforum below had unread topics/threads in v3, the topics/threads above would also be in bold w/v3 to also signal unread. Not so in v4.

https://forums.malwarebytes.org/forum/172-malwarebytes-anti-ransomware-beta/    <- this still correctly goes/stays bold till all topic/threads have been read.

Thank you.

Hello Michael:

I am thinking no.

I know I have unread topics in the MBARW sub-forum. Yet a glance at the forum's portal shows the second sub-forum from the top indicates no unread content.

If you wish, I can attach a screen grab in about 90 minutes when I return home.

Thank you Michael

Hello Michael:

NoUnreadContent.jpg.3141b225f2637cd795bd

The above is an erroneous representation because neither "Open Betas" nor "Beta Testing Program" are in bold lettering & no bullet precedes "Open Betas" as witnessed by the following JPEGs taken immediately following the above JPEG.

UnreadContent.jpg.72e81742aeac714a4500b6

Upon left-double-clicking "Open Betas" in the uppermost JPEG the above JPEG is a correct representation. Note the characters are in bold.

UnreadTopics.jpg.a84670818aa903e084c8e0f

Upon left-double-clicking the sub-forum in the middle JPEG the above is also a correct representation. These unread topics are preceded by bullets and the characters are in bold lettering.

This condition did not exist before this Tuesday.

Thank you.
