[SOLVED] Number of posts in subforum

Post counts are still being brought over / updated due to the v4 update. IPS is actively pushing some of the remaining background tasks now.

@MetallicaI believe that I have found where this issue lies.

It treats the first post in the topic not as a post, but as a thread. Only subsequent replies are being counted as "posts" for this purpose.

Well, this is horribly misleading considering that there's over 1,000 threads in that section like mentionned Ron Isn't there a way on IPS4 to make it display both the number of threads and posts? It would be more representative that way. Or even just the number of threads.

Indexes, counts, cache, etc were rebuilt last night. Please review the numbers again now.

It shows "1,328 posts" for me in Metallica's section. Shouldn't this be "Threads" and not "Posts"?

Not sure - Posts, Topics, Threads are a bit different depending on who you ask or who's software you're using.

I haven't counted, but that is certainly a far closer number than before.
