An email ransomware detected by Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta build 0.9.14.361, it says that it quarantined it, but nothing in the quarantine.

No idea if it was a false positive or just a complete miss. guess I'll find out soon enough.  Is there a record of it in a file somewhere I can send?

Yes. Please create the following archive files for developer analysis:

Create a ZIP archive of the directory C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware\

Create another ZIP archive of the directory C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService\logs\

Please attach the above zipped archives to your next reply.

Thank you.

Hello Nodeity:

All available data from you points to a false positive and Microsoft Office may now be in need of repair:

How to Repair an Office application.

  • Please consider producing a hard copy of the procedure within Repair an Office application.
  • Restart the computer in question into the Windows Normal mode and terminate unnecessary applications.
  • Follow Microsoft's procedure within step 1.
  • Again, restart the system into Windows Normal mode.
  • Confirm the previously missing file has been restored.

Following the procedure above, you may wish to consider entering the below problematic file's pathname in MBARW GUI Dashboard -> Exclusions:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\ClickToRun\Updates\16.0.6568.2036\OfficeClickToRun.exe

Please reply to your topic with the status of your system.

Thank you for beta testing MBARW and your valued feedback.
