How Does One Update A Profile?

I tried to provide an updated profile but cannot

 

When I go to change avatar or change anything, I get:

 

member_profile_disabled 

[daledoc1]

Because of prior abuse and spamming, the forum moderator team has had to change software settings to prevent profile editing for new members.

I am also facing this issue. I moved back to Australia from the UK and wish to change my location. Although I am classified as a 'New Member', I in fact joined in June 2011.

P.S. I would've posted this in Forums Announcements & Feedback but as this thread already exists, it seemed pointless to create another.

The registration date doesn't matter anymore. Post count and usergroups does if I'm not mistaken.

@AdvancedSetup knows more about it, but the "milestone" to be able to edit the profile, avatar, signature, etc. haven't been made public.

At this time you would need to be a member of the Honorary Members forum in order to edit your profile @TheSeeker11 though we do hope to allow regular members the ability to edit soon.

I simply want to change my location, is there no other way to do this? Also, how does one become an 'Honorary Member'?
