Hello.

 

I am not sure if this is a malicious site or not, but I know that skype uses that port.

MBM (I have the pro version) has been blocking a lot of these for me, and skype isnt working right for the last week and a half (not sure if its related).

It's not an F/P. The IP is part of a Dridex botnet.

 

As Skype uses P2P tech, it's unfortunately not uncommon for it to reach out to other machines using it, and sadly, it doesn't care of those machines are also infected.

Clarifying the last sentence of Steven's reply...

 

"also infected" is NOT saying your computer is infected.  He is saying that a computer Skype is using is infected.  As long as you don't allow the connection, you're okay.  Skype will find an alternate path.  Allowing the connection opens you up to anything that the infected computer throws at you.
